Lib It Up Help Needed

I sure hope someone can help me with Lib It Up ~ please, please, before I go INSANE trying to figure out what is wrong.

I spent many hours exporting my svg files, following the tutorial on Susan Bluerobot's blog and all appeared to go well. Since I have a young child I had to do it in several sessions. At the end of each session, after I had exported into the 'library' file, when I went to close the program, it would ask me to name my new file, giving me the choice of 'untitled', which I accepted.

Now that I have all my files exported, when I open SCAL, I can see only the very first set of exports that I did! If I look in my finder (I'm using a Mac), I can see all the 'untitled' libraries I created, but I can't find any way to open them!

Is there a way to open a different library in SCAL? Do I need to take the new libraries I've created and put them into a different folder (other than the default suggested by Lib it Up) so they'll open?

If someone here can help me, I'll love you forever

I wlsh I could help you with the problem. I don't have mac and would love to explain on how to get your files. But lets assume that it is the basic same way as Vista or windows. You "Import" svg's into SCAL. You Open SVG""s in INkscape. Using the open and import feature all you do is choose where you have the files saved in your folders. Sorry I couldn't help further.

I thought you could only have 20 SVG files total in Lib It Up.

The files have to be in a specific location on the computer. They have to be in the Library folder in Craft Edge folder. This is how it is set up in Windows (C:\Program Files\Craft Edge\Sure Cuts A Lot\Library). Once they are in the Library folder, they should show up. Check where the Craft Edge folder is and then the Library folder. I have not had any problems with them but, on the other hand, I am not on a MAC.

Thanks! I'm testing out a program called Camtasia for the video. I've got my studio microphones for optimal audio (even though my PC is louder then hell) that I originally purchased for my musical creations. Who'd a guessed I'd be using them to make tutorials.

I too am on Mac, and followed Susan's blog, and I can't see my new shapes either
On my Mac I don't have a CRAFT EDGE folder, I have a SCAL, and a SCAL LIB IT UP, I made sure to have the new library in the SCAL/Library folder. I can see it there, but when I launch the program, all I can see is BASIC SHAPES-what am I doing wrong???????

On a Mac, the library files need to go in this folder Applications/Sure Cuts A Lot/Library
if you forget, just do a search for "Basic Shapes" and put them in the same folder with that.

I don't use Libitup so I don't know about the untitled situation. I think I would just rename them Lib 1, 2, 3, ...etc. in the finder, open each one and write down what is in it (Lib 2 has animals, etc) and then rename them again in the finder.

BTW, SCAL Libraries can only hold 10 shapes a piece...one reason why most of us don't bother with them.
