I am another newbie to Inkscapes and SCAL and need some help. I have downloaded some free dingbats which I can open, but can't seem to figure out how to use them. I have not been successful in importing or opening them in Inkscapes. The dingbats are all grouped together and when I click on the properties box, it says it is a true type font file. I think I have unzipped them as instructed in some of the posts on this site. Is there any help for me???

They should be with your fonts in SCAL. Scroll through your list and see if they are there. Use the virtual keyboard on your monitor to sellect the individual dingbats.

Thank you for your response. I checked the fonts in SCAL and they are not there. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I am getting frustrated.

Open another program and see if you can find them there. Also, have you either used the refresh button in the SCAL Library window, or closed SCAL and reopened it since you installed the fonts?
