A collage for a friend

Post by jsnstarprncss »

Well...I got bored last week and wanted to play with my cricut, so I made this layout for my bestie. These are a lot of her fave things and colors. I framed this and mailed it off yesterday (which total with the frame and shipping cost me $17.62 to make) If you want any of the SVG Files, let me know I'll send them.

Enjoy

Aww thanks :D When we were in HS I made a scrapbook of all our favorites. She has it still, and when I go home to visit, we look through and even go do some of the stuff like eat at our fave place and go to the movies. THAT is why I scrapbook!! For the great memories

Sure Thing: Curlz MT (for Louisa) and Pea Weenie (for the excerpt next to her pic)

I don't know how to zip file so if you want it, let me know. I think you may be able to find it for free, but it came with my new (Vista) laptop which I was excited about.

I'm pretty sure Curlz MT is packaged by microsoft (it's on both of our computers). How about A Yummy Apology instead?

I guess I do know how to zip files...nevermind...see if the attachment works

Thanks for sharing Heather, I actually don't like Yummy Apology because it's doesn't curl as much, but to each their own :D

Check out this URL if you need the Curlz font!

http://www.sofontes.com.br/busca.php?busca=curlz

This website is a great place to find those hard to find fonts.

Thanks all - the Curlz font was on my pc - I hadn't noticed it before - sometimes you need someone else to cut it before you realise it is a great font :D

The pea weenie font came through perfectly on your zip attachement so I have saved that as well - I had thought you had hand written that p[art of the layout.

Thanks Raewyn, glad it worked...no my actual handwriting is the black sharpie. I love that font that I used though--saw it on one of the websites these great ladies shared on the forum!
