Todd, you rock! Now we can cut chipboard, too!
Imagine the possibilities- cut the chipboard, then cut PP to put over it- what a time saver! I'll never have to use an Xacto knife again!

Hint: Attach your PP to the chipboard before cutting. One series of multicuts and you are done!

Weld and shadow work perfect and so much easier than DS.
Actually, I like the way you just click a work, click weld and DS would scrunch the letters together. You may need to adjust a letter or two, but it was fairly automatic. With SCAL, there is no automatic feature, you have to manual move each letter. I don't necessarily see it easier, but I'm sure happy it's here!

I read that you can cut chipboard now? Is there a special setting it must be on?

You need "multi-cut" set to at least 2 sometimes more than that. Best bet is to do a couple of test cuts first to judge the sharpness of your blade versus the thickness of the chipboard. If you are wanting to purchase chipboard, the .022 thickness is about the max thickness that can be cut.
You can find "multi-cut" under the "cutter" tab.

Is anyone having trouble cutting anything thicker than cardstock? I have very thin chipboard and am using the highest pressure and 4x cut and fairly new blade and still won't cut. What could I be doing wrong? Any ideas?
*** I figured it out. The
blade needs to be turned to 6 (deeper cut) and then highest pressure and multi-cut
