Craft Edge

I am testing SCAL with the trial version. I have also updated my firmware on my Personal Cricut with the trial DS. It updated it to version 1.32. Is that a problem? Is it a different version from 1.3? Because when I try to cut an svg file, all I get is three straight lines and the file is a basketball. What is going on? I am VERY interested in this program but i wanted to be sure I would use it and that I would get the hang of it before I bought it.

Also, if I download the program, can I burn a backup copy to a disk. What if something happens to my computer or I get a new computer. Will I be able to transfer my program?

the program only lets you cut after you purchase. It will cut big lines until you pay for it but you can test it by making files-
it is worth the cost.... you can back up to disk if you want but if you lose it all you have to do is contact craft edge and they will give you another # to open again....at least this is what I have read on the forum...
