HELP! Can anyone give steps to shadow

I see all the fancy , way out stuff on inkscape. All I want to do is take a letter and make a shadow that will cut using SCA and my bug. In 1,2,3 type steps, can anyone tell me how to do that? Please.

I don't think you can in SCAL.
it takes only a few steps & a few seconds in inkscape. VERY EASY.
did you see the short cut steps I posted before?

Have you tried using "Bold" on the letter to make it slightly larger to use for the shadow?
Or you could just copy the letter and make it slightly larger to use for the shadow.
