I AM USING SCAL 3 WITH MY CAMEO. I AM TRYING TO SAVE MY DESIGN TO SEND IN AN EMAIL TO A CUSTOMER FOR A PROOF..
WHILE IN SCAL3, I CLICK EXPORT, SAVE AS PNG. I OPEN THE IMAGE TO EMAIL IT AND IT HAS THE WORD DEMO WRITTEN IN HUGE LETTERS ALL OVER MY DESIGN.. WHY?? HOW DO I FIX THIS?
I PREVIOUSLY HAD SCAL2 WITH MY EXPRESSION. I USED THE FREE UPGRADE HERE FOR THE SCAL3 SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAMEO..
PLEASE HELP...
THANKS,
HEIDI

It is a bug in SCAL, contact craft edge support and request a fix..
In the mean time, you could always take a screen shot of the screen as a proof.

Yuk Vista!
There are ways to do it using printscreen button but there are much easier ways..
Depending on the version of vista you may already have snipping tool which is VERY good..
If you have a version of Vista other than Home Basic, you already have the Snipping Tool screen capture utility: Choose Start, All Programs, Accessories, Snipping Tool. If you don't see it there, it may not be activated. Go to Control Panel and open Program and Features (you may have to click Programs first). In the task pane on the left, click Turn Windows features on or off. If necessary, click Continue when prompted by User Account Control. Scroll through the list of features, check the box next to Tablet PC Optional Components, and click OK. Turning on these features gives you not only the Snipping Tool, but also the Tablet PC Input Panel, Windows Journal, and other stylus-related features.
If you have Home Basic then you will need a screen capture program such as this free one
http://bluefive.pair.com/snapshot.htm which will capture a rectangular area and save it as a jpg like the snipping tool above
You would make the SCAL or whatever window you wish to grab as large as possible and zoom in so that what you want to be in the image is visible, then use snipping tool or snapshot to grab that area of the screen and save it as a JPG, you can send that to your client as a proof

Another suggestion. I use file/print/preview on SCAL3/eCal. This brings up the image and it can be saved as a .jpg or .pdf. In "preview" you have the option to email a pdf or save or take a screen capture.
I have a Mac so this may not work in Vista/Win but it may help someone.
