Failing to Load

That is the pop up message I am getting this morning when I try to open my svg files, I got one file open when I started and now when I try to open any I select I get this message. I have never had this happen before....does anyone know anything about this? I am running what is stated below. :(
Update: I am getting in other files but not this folder of some files. I used it earlier this morning for the first file I cut and I've used other files in there in the past, I have them in a folder I opened just to keep them all together.

Maybe post one of the files to see if we all get that message with it.

Here's a sandcastle file. It only does certain files in this folder, some will open. I've been going thru them, I'll put a couple on here.

I also have separated the 8 files that are doing this into their own folder and still won't open. It must be something with these files, I took them out of the folder and tried opening them alone for SCAL2 and they still won't open.

Sandcastle would not open for me in SCAL but I did get it to open in inkscape so maybe the others will also and you can resave them under a similar name

Thanks for the info. I don't have Inkscape so I'm not sure what to do.

They won't open for me either...maybe right click on the fold and go to open with and select Scal somehow.

Thanks for checking it out. That didn't work either. I will just delete the files out of my folder, thank goodness there are only 8 of them.

I didn't seem to have any problems opening the ones you posted. If I am understanding correctly, you have files in one folder and some of them don't open.

Make sure none of the file names have any special characters (line the & sign or / ). Rename the files if they have any special characters.

Seems like Butterfly is going to look at files for you, too. So that is great. Just thought to mention the special characters.

Yes I got the problem solved even though we don't know what it was. Heather M would often recommend recreating the file because it would sometimes fix the issue so that is what I did
