vinyl on plates

If you wanted to place vinyl on the bottom side of a plate where you could read a name, ect., what would you use and how would you do it? I realize i would have to mirror image when printing. Thanks

i am assuming they are clear glass plates. I use Oracle vinyl bought online but i am sure the cricut vinyl would do just fine if they don't put it in the dishwasher. You already know to mirror image, what else do u need to know.
figure out your plate size and put the name on a curved path. now for that, someone else would have to chime in cuz i would have to research that but you can probably put curved path in the search option and probably find out how.

I'm going to get the title of Etching guy..but here is a suggestion...instead of vinyl, if the plate is glass you can make a template from your decal and etch on the bottom of the plate..you'll still need a mirror image for writing but you'll be able to put it in the dishwasher...

yes - love the etching. Have done 6 casserole dishes for Christmas.
