cutout shapes as picks in floral arrangements

I have been asked to create some cutouts of cheerleaders, flag football players, and footballs to be put on picks and inserted into planted mums for a homecoming banquet. My question to my fellow crafters: should these be doubled-sided (meaning two cutouts glued together with the pick inside) or is it considered alright to just tape one to the pick. These will be on round tables so will be viewed from all sides. I'm just not sure the best way to handle how to put the cutouts on the picks. Hoping someone has some photos of ideas for me on this one.

i think double sided would be cuter. glue them together with the stick in the middle with one dab of glue. make sure we get to see your project. we love to see stuff.   ;) ;) ;)

Another vote here for two-sided. I think it will give the arrangement a more polished look since you can see it from all sides. Definitely want to see pics of finished project. :)

I too would double side them.. Reason being also if they sit there too long the paper may start to warp..

Here's a photo of the finished product....and yes, I did the two sided! Took a good big of work to "create" silouettes that were acceptable to the dress standards of our Christian school, and flag football player clipart does not abound on the web. But, all in all, I think they turned out okay.
