I'VE UPDATED MY FIRMWARE TWICE AND IT STILLS STAYS ON CHECKING MAT. I don't understand what the problem is. Never had problems until after updating to this new version of SCAL. Can anyone help me please? Any help would be appreciated.
TIA
Kim

Ive had the same problem most of the day, I uninstalled the update and reinstalled from my CD.
It just kept getting stuck on checking mat.

I would email Todd & ask him about it. He would probably be the best to answer this question.

XP or Vista?
If Vista, do you still have to run in the XP compatibility mode?

Thanks for the reply. Only way I get round it now is to unplug my USB cable and replug it.
I can never open another project and start cutting again without doing this.
Maybe my computer?

Definitely report the problem to Todd. That likely is not your computer.

I happened to me also. I just installed SCAL again (not firmware) and it works fine after that.

I was having same problem the other day, and I haven't upgraded yet to the newest version. Weird that others are having the same issue. I just closed scal and went back in and it would work fine.
