SCAL and the New Cricut Expression 2

Post by hurleygirl »

Will SCAL work with the new Expression 2? I am thinking of purchasing one.

Thank you!

Not sure, except this link mentions the 'E'...not 'E2' as compatible with Scal 2.

http://craftedge.com/products/products.html

However...if you buy it...maybe try it with the trial version of Scal 2...and let us know. But I think it would be listed with the other PC machines if it would work.

does the E2 work with cricut design studios??

I'm wondering if the lawsuit is keeping craft edge from adding it to the list

The E2 does not work with CDS and won't work with SCAL either, barring a miracle.

I believe they are fazing out the Design Studio in favor of the new Cricut Craft Room software. Their website does state that all Cricuts will be compatible with this new software, so it must have a USB port. I suppose it is possible SCAL could be compatible with the E2 in the future, but it seems like that might be playing with fire on Craft Edge's part.
