Try a Digital Layout Before You Cut

I seem to come to things backward. I cut something, then I try to use it. I waste a lot of paper. Using the digital layout approach I can see where I'm going, I know which elements to cut, in what colors and where and how I'm going to use them.
Here's my first Digital Layout and I'm hooked. I'm entering it in a "challenge" on extracting an element from a photo and using it in a layout.
You can read about how I got here and about the challenge on my Blog. Now don't expect a tutorial ala Susan Bluerobot, I'm not in her league at all. I talk about the experience of discovering new ways to approach things. I also tell you what elements I used and where to get them.
