Shadow Layer

I'm a newbie. I have an image created from shapes welded together. How does one create a shadow layer in SCAL?

On the side panel...Properties Panel...you will see "normal" under Appearance and Style...use the arrow drop down to make a shadow of various types of a COPY PASTED image of what you have made.
