Every time I tried to cut, it starts and then stops halfway through the cutting. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, made sure it is directly into my computer, updated my firmware again, etc. I don't know what the problem is. I have 22 titles to cut for a swap and this is driving me crazy!!!! Has anyone had this happen?
TIA!
GRRRRR... help please!!!
Re: GRRRRR... help please!!!
Could it be something with your computer? Maybe running out of memory or something? I ask because this happened to me when my laptop's battery went dead. It just stopped and then wouldn't start again. I was thinking maybe your computer is losing communication with your bug somehow partway through.

Be sure your system meets the requirements listed here: http://www.craftedge.com/products/products.html. If it does, then I doubt memory is your problem. You can check how much memory you have: Right click on My Computer, choose properties and see how much ram is installed on your computer.
As far as deleting files are concerned, you can check how much space is left on your system: Right-click on Start, click on Explore, find your drive (probably C:). Right-click on C: and in the Local Disk Properties window, look at your free and used space on your drive. Unless your free space does not meet the CraftEdge hardware requirements, then deleting files from your system will not resolve your cutting problem.
It's always a good idea to keep your computer tidy, but defragging and deleting files may not resolve the problem.
The problem sounds more like a firmware problem. I suggest that you send Todd an email describing your problem. Include your system specs as outlined in the requirements on the link above in your email. Todd should be able to help out with that. I know you said you reinstalled your firmware, but maybe the order in which you do things can make a difference. HTH
