Craft Edge

I would like to take the attached image and convert the two separtate svg files to use in sure cuts a lot.
Inkscape is way over my head and I have tried to do this myself in inkscape but I cannot even find a laso or select function so
that I only end up with the two swirls and not the entire screen shot.

If someone has the time and the desire to explain how this is done step by step I'd appreciate it. As I mentioned I am not an inkscape user (I have it but it's a foregin language to me) but if I know how to maneuver in the program I could do it myself.

Anys suggestions?

Hi, Is there a particular reason you want an .svg file? You can use the file you have to take right into SCAL. Use trace image, and then break apart into the you get two pieces. the line stays with one so delete it, copy/paste the other one, flip horizontal works just fine.

If you need it as an .svg you take the file you have, open it in Inkscape and trace, then break apart.

If you need more/better instructions let me know.

If you really need an svg you can export it as svg from SCAL.

When I trace in SCAL, the line beneath the two swirls displays along with the two swirls. How to I eliminate the line?
I know in this forum the line only looks like a spell check issue but when the png is traced in SCAL it displays as a solid line.

Suggestions??
