I want to take a picture and turn it into a image that can be cut out of vinyl of my grandson like the one that some did of the Bieber (spelling. I don't know who he is) person. How do you change a picture of a face or image into a all black image so it can be cut out on the Cricut I did a trace image in Inkscape and it turned into a black image but it won't cut out. It has to many points and when I do simplfy, it changes the image. Help. I love this cut.

I did the one of bieber.. What I did was take it into photoshop elements first and converted it to black and white.. I removed all the background part of the photo and left that white.. I took the rest of the photo of bieber that was left and changed it to a photocopy option and then adjusted the image brightness bar and moved it to a lower number until I was satisfied with the parts that were showing up.. I then took it to inkscape and did a trace image...

Thank you, I will try that. Everyone's looks so nice and I have to many nodes.

If you have too many nodes use path/simplify which will lessen the nodes..
