Craft Edge

I have 5x7 envelope svg from penny duncan. When I open it.. its huge. I have tried to bring it down to size, but it just doesn't look likes its going to fit the 5x7 card I made. Am I doing something wrong?

Have you tried cutting it on scrap paper (plain)?

I cheated. I took a much larger envelope I had and wouldn't use at that size and cut it down to a 5x7 from a white 5x7 envelope I had. If there is a will there is a way! A friend mentioned using wrapping paper since these envelope files seem to use a 12x 12 paper. I can't part with my 12x 12 like that. I am going to go to dollar store and get some Halloween paper and give it a go.
