Is there a secret/method to designing or manipulating a design for curved surfaces? For example.....like wine glasses, bowls and such.
Always appreciative of your help,

How are you having problems? If your design is round and you are wrapping it around a glass, the finished product may look more like an oval instead of circle. If this is the case, you might try increasing your artwork horizontally only by 9%. This will make your circle look like a circle again.

I would do the same thing. Scale it Horizontally only by 9%. By doing this, you are making it just a little longer, but keeping the same height. When you wrap it around the glass, the contour shortens the length back to normal. You might have to play with the % a little depending on how far around the glass you are wrapping the artwork.

Eva,
I cut something for a bucket the other day, (check out the 50 Sucks thread) and when I put the vinyl on the bucket the words curved up slightly at the ends. Is this part of the problem that you were wondering about in this thread/

Yes, that is one of the problems. The other is curved letters like S, B's and such....... particularly with things that have 2 directional bowls.....like wine classes, serving bowls, glass ornaments bulbs and such......
Always grateful for your help,
