Craft Edge

Hi. Just starting working with SCAL. Trying to cut. No luck. Will pull up a box saying "checking mat..." and lock up. I've double checked my cricket version is correct, and re-booted my computer several times. No luck. Any suggestions?

I had a problem like that with mine right after I downloaded the trial to see if I would like it.....and the problem was due to my anti-virus program......I guess it was PROTECTING my computer so, after someone told me that it might be that, I DISABLED my anti-virus just long enough to download and then all went well. If you try this, MAKE SURE TO TURN THE ANTI-VIRUS back ON!!!!!!!! Good luck!

I had something similar. Mine went through the whole checking process, and then said cutting somplete, when actually it hadn't cut anything. I found out that it was because I had checked the weld option, and had nothing to weld. Once I un-checked "weld," it had no problems cutting.
