Craft Edge

I'm sorry, b/c i am sure there are links that can help, but i am having a hard time finding them.
I downloaded some .svg files that others shared, and i want to open them in SCAL, but i can't---is there something to this that i am missing????
if i click directly on the file, it opens in Safari--if i try to open in SCAL (by clicking "enable all file"), then SCAL
unexpectedly quits" on me---HELP!!!!!!
I have a Powerbook G4 running 10.4.11---TIA for all your help!!!

You have to IMPORT svg files....That should help...

Being a computer dummy, I have made all the mistakes possible, I think. I'm learning by leaps and bounds using this forum.

I'm trying to open an .scut file, and i've tried importing it and SCAL still shuts down. What am i doing wrong? I thought i was 'getting' this

If it's an .scut file, you just open it from SCAL (file, open). If it's an .svg file, you IMPORT it (file, import).

So try just opening it and see if that makes a difference.
