So I am talking my friend into buying SCAL too, hehe. She downloaded the trial to see if its something she wants to get..it says she needs to make sure her bug is updated with the firmware. I also have DS so that wasn't an issue with me. She doesn't have DS and when she downloaded the trial to DS it gave her all sorts of problems. Is there anywhere she can download the firmware for her baby bug without having DS? I think she would really love SCAL

I thought if anyone knew..someone in here would know

tell her not to waste her money on CDS. I wish I wouldn't have---if I didn't buy it, I could have SCAL right now.

anyway, lol.........I think there is a free trial download of CDS somewhere that she can use to update the firmware, but I don't know where that download is.

If you have DCS, she can connect her cricut to your PC and upgrade the firmware.
