Hey everyone! I'm brand new here and have a real beginner question.

I just got my bug 3 weeks ago and I am absolutely lovin' it! I've been reading some about SCAL, but am still kind fuzzy about what it does. I understand you can cut any TT font off your computer, I understand you can weld words as well, but what I'm not sure of is what else SCAL does.

Does it create shadows for words? Can you take any clipart (whether it's from a downloaded clip art program you have on your computer or clip art from an online site) and cut it?

Does it do other stuff I'm not thinking it does?

HELP!!! I need to be enabled! If it does what I hope it does- I'm buyin' it!!!

SCAL allows you to cut TTF fonts from your computer. It also will allow you to cut any shape that you can convert. I use Inkscape to convert clipart to .svg format and then import and cut the artwork in SCAL.

Inkscape truly allow you to cut whatever you want (as long as you can convert it).
