Pointed Shadows

I would like for SCAL2 to be able to make a shadow that doesn't round the edge of pointed images. On another cutting software, I saw an option for beveled shadows. If the original image is pointed, it keeps the point on the shadow layers. This looks a lot better than rounded edges. Without this option, it seems impossible to make a good shadow for an image like a heart.

The new version of SCAL that has just come out does this.

You now have three options with the 2.011 update. These work with both Shadow and Shadow Blackout.

Wow, Heather, great minds think alike! LOL I hadn't see this question or your answer when I made my post about the new shadow options. My illustration looks almost exactly like yours!

Thanks so much for sharing this! It's just what I was hoping they would add!

How do you know when new updates come out?
