Using Creative Keepsakes Fonts/Images in Scal

I have some of these scrapbooking cd's that I think are meant to be printed to be used. Some seem to have TrueType fonts. Can I import into Scal? If so, how? Anyone been doing this?
I just installed Inkscape--and haven't yet jumped in--would this change some of the images in these cd's into svgs?
Thought would be fun to have access to all the content on these cd's--and I have several but am mystified.
Help please!!!

Daisy,
You can use these in SCAL, but not all of them will cut well, especially at small sizes. You want to look for fonts with stroke size similar to what you see on the Cricut cartridges.
If a font is already loaded on your computer, then you just select it from the SCAL fonts menu. If not you can temporarily load it through the text properties palette (I think, we don't have this on the Mac version)
You don't need inkscape to turn the images into SVGs. You may be able to do that in SCAL. Click on the image button to bring it in and trace it.

(Hope this is coherent--am ready to scream.) Thank you for your help--I tried industriously to apply and am sure I am missing an obvious point. Will try to describe:
-autotrace image to browse
-my documents-opened a folder Lettering Delights (maybe I made this in hopes of depositing nice pictures)
-in autotrace got a black box and when I tried to open and browse finally "softball is super" in CK type font appeared
(how, who knows...)
-hit browse again, back to folders
-back to autotrace image, now blank box
-disappears in few seconds
To my astonishment, "softball is super" cut.

This may not be totally what I did--but I took notes, and tried so many times figured I'd better yell for help.

So, appears to be reaching Lettering Delights (have now installed two on this computer) I opened one and picked a picture of a basinette-and hit "add" hoping it would wiz its way over, but didn't.

If this rings any bells for help, pls advise. My help button isn't working on the help section and so I'll wait for now til I get inspired or someone else does. THNX!

Daisy.
Unsure what you are saying but hope I can help you out.

If you are wanting to install ttf's (so they can be used in SCAL) they will or need to be installed into your computer in the font folder. I have Windows 7 and I right click on my fonts and choose install and it auto installs them. I read there is a way though that you can open your font then run your program and it will or should show up in Scal. I might be wrong but was unaware of anyway to importing the ttf's. Others might give their ideas on this.

I'm not following you, Daisy. Can you give a link to the LD image or post a low rez copy of it so we can see what you are talking about? I assume we are talking about images now and not fonts.
