Troubles with svg files in 2.10

I thought I would try scal 2.010 again, and am thinking of going right back to scal 2.7. My svg files I have in my 2.7 library will not show up in the 2.010 library. They also will not import. I used the scal libi up 1 when I first had SCAL. I no longer have the zip files of everything I have purchased and am wondering what can I do? Do I have to go back to the 2.7? Its kind of depressing because I'll never be able to get all the updates if I have to go back just to use my svg files. I have Windows 7.
