I have read how wonderful you all think SCAL is but for the life of me I don't get it. I have been working for hours and I can't get anything to work except typing a word on a sheet.
If you buy SCAL do you get a manual from the company with instructions/tutorials?
If not I dont know that I can get started and progress.
This isn't user friendly and because I want this to work I'm hoping you'll all tell me there is a wonderful manual/workbook/tutorial available.

When I first bought SCAL2 I learned a lot from these links:

http://www.scrappingtable.com/helpwithscal.html
(It helps to do the excercises in part two.)

http://www.scrappingtable.com/faq.html

It's as close to a manual as I think anyone will ever create and she did a fabulous job putting it together.

In addition to the Scrapping Table website, there's also a lot of helpful videos on utube. Just search for Sure Cuts A Lot.

Hope that helps.

There is the in-program users manual (in the menu select Help/Help), and it is pretty good for the SCAL basics. There are many tutorials, both written and video on different blogs and websites, and if there is something specific you need help with just post and someone will be able to send you in the right direction.
