Even if my was being a fabric hoarder..LOL. .You know the show hoarders?? Well I could have turned into one of them had I not watched a few of their shows and it made me want to clean my house right out..HAHA

I was a jail commissary manager and we used to sell candy bars and chips to the inmates. I wasn't actually in Jail, I was just in the Jails. As the manager, I had to set up the accounts and that meant actually going inside the jails and prisons and dealing directly with the inmates etc. Once the account was set up, we filled the orders and they were either delivered or shipped UPS from the warehouse.

Here's some info on the first B&B I've looked into:
The Inn at Windmere has 6 guest rooms - would accommodate 6 if no one shared rooms, 10 if people shared rooms but not beds. With 7 or more people, the rate is $160 per person - but it includes your stay, dinner Friday & Saturday, breakfast Sat & Sun, and lunch on Saturday. It also includes snacks and refreshments for the duration of your stay.
They offer a large room they say will hold 12 scrapbookers - each person has a 6 foot table, chair and ott lite. The B&B also has wireless internet.
This place looks very nice and with all meals included, I thought 160 a person is a fair price - I've seen some that charge 300 for the same package.
As far as scrapbook stores - I know that Fort Wayne has Joanne's, HL, Michael's and an Archiver's. There are also some independent shops but I'm not sure of the names to look them up online.
I think if we want to do this, we need to set a date soon - looking at availability on this inn's website, they already had some rooms booked that far out. I found two weekends that had all the rooms available: May 27-29 and June 17-19.
Here is the link if anyone wants to take a look:
http://www.innatwindmere.com/index.html
I'll look at a few other places and see what else I can find as far as affordability, etc.

Oh this looks so WONDERFUL!!! VERY nice choice!!! I hope many will go.
Todd, wanted to say that at least you know there is nothing you could do to change opinions of you...but I'm glad to hear you did not experience the something awful I jumped to assume you did. After I encouraged you to live in the moment and look to the future, I thought...shoot maybe he worked there. lol

The B&B sounds great and a really good price, but it seems like Memorial Day weekend probably wouldn't work for a lot of people (I have three different things that weekend). Is anyone interested in July or August?

Oops - I didn't even think about Memorial Day - I was just looking at available weekends on their availability calendar.

Just keeping this last on the list of posts for all to see, so it does not get lost. Posts above about Memorial Day weekend not being good...
ALSO: I had a suggestion for iron on vinyl t-shirst for the occassion
JoAnn's "Craft Edge" font writing used in her wine bottle is VERY nice and could possibly be used. I am going to attach it here.

I had a feeling you were going to say something like that! You never said you were "incarcerated"!
