Re: Stampin Up Christmas Ornament
Stampin up just issued a kit for a faster to put together simple version. the pdf instructions are http://204.228.150.61/holiday2012/ornam ... ctions.pdf I thought you ladies might like this easier version as not so many bits to cut out and stick together than the original.
The eagle eyed inkscape peeps (I am such a novice yet) will see in the pdf that now the ornaments are essentially rotated clones , 5 at 72, I just very quickly imported the ornament svg (I have My digital Studio) and added a circle in the middle and used my newly downloaded inkscape plugin to send to e-cal. Lots of playing to be done before I can print and cut it out!
I did try a print and cut outline but can't get it without 'holes' not blackout. If anyone knows what i'm doing wrong in Ecal please let me know. I'm guessing its something simple /obvious!! (just not to me)
I wanted to make mats for a lovely memory box die I have but can't work out how to loose the holes, if I edit the shadow and take out the extra nodes /holes they just keep coming back when I cut. Is there some way of cutting the tie with the original so the shadow blackout stays blackedout?

Maybe you could export the blackout for an svg and bring that back in somehow...just a thought.
My pictures and files are available for a limited time only.
