I don't have Illustrator and have to use Inkscape. Now with Ink .47 we can do this too.
Thanks Todd for the very creative ideas, per usual. You continually spark innovation and imagination!
Thanks,

I was just going to ask if this can be done in Ink. Susan would you please explain how you did it? I haven't downloaded .47 yet. I'm waiting for the "bugs" to be worked out. TIA

TIA, Inkscape pre4 is pretty stable by itself. The only drawback I've found is that it
sometimes doesn't like SCAL1, especially triangles and rectangles. That's on my Mac and can't speak to Windows. So if you have a backup computer to have .46 to test you should really come on over. I have no idea what it does on Windows. HeatherM is using it perhaps she'll show up or you could "ping" her.
How I did it was with ScrappyDew's video:

and the new features in Ink.
Hope to see you on our side one of these days.

Susan - Thanks for replying. I immediately went to your blog and then took at look at scrappydew's video. Cool stuff. I don't have a backup computer, so I'll wait for awhile. Oh, I had to chuckle. My name isn't TIA - (it means "thanks in advance").

I never thought I would be using as many acronyms as I do! Sorry.
