Here is my ornament. I did a holiday house. I did not try to cut it out yet - that will be my next step.
Getting into the holiday spirit!

Jancy, which design are you referring to? I don't think you ungroup in SCAL. I copied the .jpg of the house designs and pasted it into Inkscape and did a "break apart". There were a few problems but nothing that could not be overcome by an Inkscape user.
I'll be happy to help you if you want.

I can post the SVGs for the house. I just want to cut it and make sure it is fine. Amy

Here are the SVGs for the House Ornament. The candles were too little to cut so I eliminated. You can always add those with stickles.
File 1 is the background of the house in my example it is red. The other SVG has all the elements separated to fit a 12 x 6 mat.
I am new at preparing files for others to use so I am not sure if this is how others set them up.

Thanks for your compliment on the house. I am having so much fun with this shape challenge! In the past I've only done titles and cut svgs that I've acquired.
Now I am creating my own SVGs. Here is a snowman ornament. SVG is set up to fit a 12 x 6 mat.
Hope you can use this!
