I never found any instructions, just trial and error or should I say everything I saw and tried just didn't look like what I wanted....I buy backlit paper and either print from my printer a picture or background or just plain and adhere it with a spay adhesive and then the vinyl cutout on top...cut it 6.75 x 6.75 inches ....or if it is the 8 x 4 block then I cut it 3 x 6.75 inches....you can buy the blocks from Columbusglassblock.com or Accent glass blocks...with the hole already in them for about 13.50..I use Icescape blocks...throws a prettier light...and hide the light strands..I use 15 light strand from Christmas lights ect.....need to get them now ...they will be out soon...if you use many more lights they might get hot, but can try 20 light strand.....You can buy blocks from homedepot or those sorts of places but then have to drill your own holes.....need diamond bit and works best with drill press and takes up to 5 or 10 min. to drill....
instead of the backlit paper you can spray with glass frosting....just like the look of the paper though it is about 14.00 for 10 sheets....think that is about it...let me know what I can do..Judy PS good to be of help instead of a pain on this forum......

Backlit paper is a paper that comes clear or with a frosted look or white backlit paper..you can print on the frosted side on mirror image if need be and the gloss on the other side you can clean is facing to the outside..the inside is protected or the picture is protected....I use the frosted or white to hide the lite strands and adds a great look to the vinyl but glass spray frosting does the same thing but can be scratched.. www.texascraft.com/hps/home.php is where I get my paper from....
