Here's my version of the coffee quote - now to just get brave enough to cut the vinyl. I did a test with paper and it cut beautifully. I'm just afraid to try the vinyl.

Don't be afraid of Vinyl. It cuts really well and it looks great on a wall. Do a test run when cutting. I cut at a cutter 2 and pressure of 3. Other people have to cut at 3 and 3. It depends on your machine. Try 2 first.

Do you have the vinyl?

Yep - I've had the vinyl for about 3 weeks - I guess I need to cut a little piece and give it a go. Thanks for the info on settings - the 2 & 3 - is that speed and pressure or blade depth and pressure?

Laura,
When you are using that font, there are different versions of the same letter. Take a look at this Life. See how the L sweeps underneathe. This is in that font. Acutally there are over 1,200 additional characters etc.

Todd - I had seen where you were changing the L but didn't realize it was included. I love the L that goes underneath but I think for my kitchen project I will leave it the way it is - it looked good when I taped the test cut up!

Thanks for letting me know though - I might want it for a future project.

Pat - I PM'd you. The font is called Feel Script.

I am trying to do this but im having a problem, I want it to be about 40 inches long but my mat is only 24. How do I get it to be that long and get all the letters the same size?

Also the Letter L in Life is different than yours and im also using feel script but I like your L better. How did you change it?
