Hi, I am a newbie also. I keep checking Dan99's website hoping that he is back. I wanted to let him know how much his tutorials have helped me learn Inkscape and SCAL. I was going to email him to see if he has his previous freebies for sale anywhere, but I am waiting until he is back online. He is so talented. I hope he is alright. I wonder if anyone in the UK forums knows how he is doing?

Thanks to everyone who has expressed concern over my whereabouts, I was touched by your good wishes!
I've had a pretty rough 4 months or so, it seems to have been one thing after another. I can see light at the end of the tunnel now, and hopefully things will get back to normal very soon. My Cricut hasn't even been switched on since before Christmas, so you know that things were bad!
I have also been unable to deal with email in that time. I know that some of you may have emailed me with questions and wondering why you haven't had a response. As of today, I have over 6,000 emails waiting in my account. I *will* reply to everyone who has contacted me, but please appreciate that it might take some time to get to them all.

I am sorry you have had such a bad time. Can't wait for you to get back to your old self again. We miss you! Rest up and I hope we hear from you soon.
