Gaz,
I live near Charleston, WV right now - I have traveled back and forth every 6 weeks for 13 years between WV and MI -- now I have retired but hubby has not - I am from Mt. Pleasant, MI - I have been in Michigan quite a few months now - my son unexpectedly passed away and I have been here helping with my 4 year old granddaughter and trying to come to terms myself.
I do not know anyone around here that has a cutter.
Regards,
Cathy

Re: Changing Cutter machines
the machine is not that steep a learning curve, it's when you put it with the software. as you would know most of the software (scal) then it's only the machine you'd need to learn.
top tip is to use a pen/pencil for the first few "cuts" so 1) you get used to where on the screen is where the cutter will cut and 2) you don't waste your paper (use the cheap stuff) as you can use it over & over again, even erase the lines if you use a pencil & eraser with a light pressure - then when your ready, swap the pencil for the blade, test to find the right pressure and away you go.
