Kelley - I'm sorry you feel slighted. I think those that can help, usually do help. Personally, if I can't help or don't know the answer, I'll just back out of the thread without a response.
Butterfly - I'm sorry to see you leave.

I've appreciated all of the files you have so generously shared.

I personally have been very busy this summer.. and try and get here when I can..
I also try and help when I can.. If I see a question asked about a specific machine I don't even bother reading the question because I know nothing about any machine except the cricut machine.. As for the number of views to the questions?? People google stuff and anything similar to what they are wanting can bring you to a specific place as we all know..
I feel the same way when I come in to share files I've designed and see over 50 downloads and only 3 thankyous to that file.. and yes it's the same people all the time. But I'm not here to receive thankyous or very well done or anything else. I do this because I like what I design and like sharing the work with others..
As for Todd?? It was one person who ran him off not this forum..
And Butterfly I too am sorry to see you go. .

As Sandy mentioned, when the participation is two way, that is what makes the group good.
I can only see 6 posts by this member, Kelley, and 5 of them are right here, with the first one being posted many months ago and it was not a question. And it shows here, a suggestion was made by another member just minutes after the question was asked.
I don't know anything about Black Cat's...if I did, I know I would have answered the question. I think with all of the many machines it is best to find those comparisons that others have posted to their blogs...which can be found through a search(and I don't know of those either since I am not researching to buy a new machine right now. But if I was I think I would get the Sizzex Eclips.), and go direct to the manufacturers site, as was suggested.

Maybe with all the new machines on the market now that people have purchased, they are now learning those new machines and particiapating with the groups specific to those machines. Maybe this has made this group smaller...and probably the other groups are all small also, as one large group has become divided....but, yes, I am sure that there are a lot of members from here who are missed.

Come on everyone, let's keep this in perspective. We all have lives outside of this forum. Most of us dip in and out when time permits and those that give of their time so generously should be thanked.
People leave, new members join, some offer help, others start to learn, some take offence, others have a laugh. This is what makes this forum and most everyone here is happy to help if they can but, as mentioned previously, with all the new machines out there the forum is inevitably going to lose people who look to a specific forum based on their machine and people here may not be able to help them.
I think everyone misses Todd but it's time to move on and let the forum evolve.

Life is full of give and take. How many times have you helped someone who never responded or asked a question that didn't get a response. Do you think someone on here owes you something? If you do you are sadly mistaken. Not getting an answer probably means we don't KNOW the answer plain and simple. Do your own research, find out for yourself, all of the information you could possibly want is available out there with the click of a mouse. If you just post a question without doing your homework you may find that we don't have the answer either and I really don't know any reason under God's green earth why I should do your homework for you. Like everyone else I work full time, run a household and have a family. If I look quickly at your post and don't reply there are MANY reasons for it and I don't feel I need to justify that to you. Downloading someone's work without thanking them is just plain rude but the world is full of people who take without giving and since we are all big kids we know that. Sandy, gj1 and Joanne have been working very hard, along with others to keep this forum going and to maintain a positive atmosphere and I thank them for that. If you are disappointed with what happens on this forum I submit to you that YOU are part of the problem but you also have the opportunity to be part of the solution. Your choice, take it or leave it. NO ONE HERE OWES YOU ANYTHING!!!! STAY OR GO, YOUR DECISION!!! BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOU GET AND GIVE A LITTLE WHEN YOU CAN. WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND!

I worked hard on this forum for a long time, Up until I lost the internet for a month when I came back I asked for some help on where to find the awareness ribbons if anyone knew of a place I was looking for the colors of what each one represents I got told to Goolge it and that was the only response I got I know NOBODY OWES ME ANYTHING but I did believe I was entitled to be treated the same
Just for the record I did not come here to have someone do my research for me I was just hoping someone knew of a site I had already done the google thing
Yes I can see where I could be part of the problem because of my opinions on different issues
So I guess there is only a little left for me to say
MANY THANKS TO FROM BOTTOM OF MY HEART TO THE FOLLOWING
For selfless Help to me and many others here on this forum
HeatherM, Cleversomeday, Todd, Yes that Todd, Papasue, Laura, Grammykrause, DogCarbine, Lindamac,Pastda3, craig64

butterfly, I'm sorry that I missed your original post. Here is a site that has all the colours for Awareness Ribbons, there are embroidery files but the colours are right.

Hey - Butterfly
I also flit in and out of the forum - taking files and leaving no thanks - it's my nature, and for that I apologies - I read questions and leave no response - mainly because I dont know the anwer.!
You should stay - it takes everyone to make a successful forum - not just the clever ones - who's going to ask the questions ??
I looked at the Black cat machines - they are an arm and a leg so as well as my cricut I bought a silhouette SD so I can keep using SCAL.
