Still looking for help

I tried cutting this spiral file but everytime I do it cuts straight thru from the center to the outside.I do have the full version of SCAL2 Not the trial. I can cut all my other files just fine.Anyone have any other ideas?

ok, stupid question. how do u create these spirals. ????considering it is midnight, my brain can't figure it. thanks.
