Re: box cake
I am continually amazed at the creativity I see posted on these boards! Great job!
Re: box cake
Thery were "Grunge rose" inspired. There much like TH flowers but his use 6 petals and these only 5. I used george basic shapes flower in BO mode for mine but I made a
similar flower with the cut line already in it. This cut file has enough for 3 flowers.(make any size you want). Take a lg,med and small one for one flower.
Its very easy and Very addicting. The first thing I do is take a small round object ( I use a very small crochet hook) and roll the petals to all flowers under.
steps
1. take the lg flower and glue it(with your choice glue, I use sm hot glue gun) where the cut is this will make a "cup shape with the rolled part facing down.
2. do the same with all the shapes you will have 5 in total. the small tear drop shape will just simlpy be rolled onto itself and then glued.
3. cut a small nip at the bottom of each shape except the tear shaped one, so that it makes a small hole at the bottom
4. Glue them all together starting with the largest to the smallest. finishing with the rolled petal. shape them as you go working quickly if you are
using a quick drying glue.
You can make the cut any size smaller than I have them or larger. I used plain textured white paper then put them on a wooden skewer and spray painted them with a
matalic gold spray paint.
hope these are easy to follow.
I put a cutfile with the flower shapes you will need. But you can use any shape you would like to produce similar flowers but different styles.
