Gallery

I think it would be great to have a gallery where people could post pictures of their projects that would be easy to browse through like the one at scrapbook.com. I am very visual and the forums here are kind of drab looking.

There is already such a place. It's in the Marketplace area and called "items created with SCAL". It is new and has not taken off yet, but craftedge created that area at members request.

The Marketplace forum was created for people who wanted to sell their .svg's. The Designs topic is for "Sharing your designs and layouts created with Sure Cuts A Lot".

By gallery I meant a place where the pictures are what you see first, not a long list of posts which you have to scroll down to get to and then have to open them each to view them. I would like to see a page of thumbnails which can be searched by key words like "card" or "layout" or "Christmas." Maybe a few random selections from the gallery at the top of the page. I would like to be able to click on the thumbnails to get a larger picture and more information about the project.

How about a Flicker account or some other picture hosting site? There must be some type of account that you can set up for public uploading of pictures.

I think a gallery for finished projects would be great to have. Here is a link to the Two Peas gallery for an example. http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/

Oh, I forgot to specify that I would like a public gallery for everyone on this forum to contribute to, not a personal web gallery. I already use picasa for that :).
