Having A Cell Phone REally Does Pay Off
So I was on facebook today and I belong to the MIchaels group. I see an ad on there for the Daily Deal which they've been running all week. .Todays deal was the Martha Stewart Glitter set for 19.99 Cdn for I'm thinking 30 small bottles. I already own one set but couldn't resist the price so went to our local Michaels to check.. I notice two people in the aisle.. right smack in the middle and the gent is mucking around on his cell phone.. I thought.. Heck.. are ya gonna move outta the way?? or just stand there talking on your cell. So I went around the other day but and there were about 4 of the sets of glitter.. They didn't want to make an effort to move so I squeezed in while he was still on his phone.. I reached up and grabbed one off the hook.. There was no daily deal card or anything so I took it to the counter along with my facebook page on my cell showing the ad.. I asked the girl at the counter if they have the daily deals in our store because the Michaels on facebook had the offers.. She asked me if that glitter was the offer of the day and I showed her my facebook page and she said yep... I guess that is the deal and then hollered over to the people that were blocking the aisle and said yes that was the glitter... The were quite happy and she grabbed the last 3 boxes.. I said I have it on my facebook on my cellphone and her hubby informed me he was trying to check but couldn't find the ad.. I showed them mine.. She couldn't have thanked me more.. LOL.. I said yep.. facebook is the greatest when it comes to this along with cell phones and I said Merry Christmas.. I left the store with a very good feeling..

I subscribe to the Michaels Newletter/deals that they offer from their site. There are special deals during Christmas that I have received everyday through my email and this one was one of them. Wish I was closer to Michaels, about 30 minutes away and I have been shopped outSweetness4713 wrote:So I was on facebook today and I belong to the MIchaels group.
