Selecting fonts on the font list

Post by chodges »

I wish that there was a way that we could check the fonts we use so that they would only show up on the list instead of every font listed on the computer. Then we wouldn't have to look through the millions of fonts. I have alot of fonts because I use them with me machine embroidery also... I guess you can call me a fontaholic!

:)

Thanks,

Yes, like a favorites folder or something. Someone else mentioned that too. Good idea!

Besides having a favorites folder or something similar in SCAL, I would like to see the ability to start typing in the name of the font, and have the drop down list jump to that name, similar to what Word does when you start to type in letters for fonts. That would save a whole lot of scrolling through the list when you know the font you want, and it starts with the end of the alphabet.

Opps, never mind.. I just tried it, and it does that already.... DUH!!! but at least I learned something new about the software, and that is always a good thing.

Really, really need a "favorite font" folder list. Since getting my SCAL I have added 35 fonts just for cutting and would like to be able to point to this folder as a preference for SCAL.
