Finished my Indian

Post by lindamac »

Here is my finished Indian, after learning how to curve feathers. I worked two days on the feathers and am feathered out!!!! I don't know how many times I had to rework each feather. I finally said enough is enough.

LindaMac, it looks to me like the effort of bending the features made a much prettier image and was well worth the effort. It is beautiful!

Now what are you going to do with it?

Thank you everyone. Actually, I'm not going to use the image on anything. I just wanted to see if I could convert the picture I found into an svg He is about 8 inches big. I made a smaller one about 3 inches and used actual feathers for his head dress. My hubby said I needed to use a different color for his face but I didn't have anything that I thought looked Native American enough which is really funny considering how much card stock I have on hand. I could start my own store. Hobby Lobby just opened in Vegas (Henderson which is right next door) and I got a Bind It all with my 40% off coupon. Their scrapbook section got wiped out the first couple of days because just about everything was on sale for 50% off. I did my fair share of buying and helping them get off to a good start.
