Cricut not cutting correctly from cartridge!!!

Post by fregley »

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place, but I'm having troubles with my cricut. For some reason, when I cut from a cartridge, it skips small bits along the edges randomly. I haven't tested to see if this happens from scal, but it's a major problem. It got whacked recently on a trip and a corner is bent out of place, but most of each design cuts out fine. I reinstalled the firmware using design studio, but it didn't help. Neither did changing the blade or pressure. What can I do????

Help!!!

Maybe you can some answers at the main Cricut Board. Perhaps when it got whacked, it knocked it out of alignment or something. Did you try cutting with a new blade? Are you sure the blade housing is in tight? Hope it's nothing major. Wish I can be of more help.

I posted on the official cricut site. Anyway, I did get a new blade, and I'm pretty sure the housing is in right.
