How do I put a line under a word

Post by quinn03 »

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me, I'm trying to put a line under a word. The word is Blessings, I want the line to start under the B and go to the n and then skip the g and then go under the last s. Is this possible?

Type the word, then use the pen tool to draw 2 lines, stopping and starting where you want them (return ends the line). Line them up using the same y coordinate value. This is if you want a single line to cut a slash or to draw with a gel pen. If you want a line to cut out, then use a rectangle from basic shapes and make it very narrow. Place it where you want the first line, then copy and paste it, put it where you want the second one and then reduce the width to how you want it. Line them up with the y coord. value also.

Firstcut, thank you for the prompt reply. I want to put this up on the kitchen wall for this weekend.
