word Welcome

Post by gleason7476 »

I am looking for the greeting "Welcome" that is welded together in a script font. I want to cut it and place it on a large mirror 18" x 32". I was thinking that maybe it could be broken between the l and c to fit on a mat. I bought the 12 x 24 mat so I would be able to get it long enough with out too many breaks. I am new at this and am not sure which font would work the best.
Thank you

Do you like this? This would be easy to cut because all the letters aren't joined.

This one also has a couple of breaks.

Thank you so much. I will try both (on paper) and see which one looks best. I just do not know how you do it. I see so many wonderful items you have posted and hope to use others soon. Oh no, I just realized it the words are not in SVG form....so now what do I do? gleason7476

Right click on the .jpg of the words, and save them. Then use the trace feature in SCAL. Before approving the trace, you have the option of saving as an .svg if you want.

Thank you so much for the directions. I have created a SVG file and hope it works. Can I scan items and save them on my desktop and do the same to create a SVG file?

You can create an svg from any jpeg image.. It may require some cleaning up to some images though...
