lines in cuts

Post by Bama »

Just DL scal and did a test run. Put a few webdings and pushed cut. It didn't start at the mat as cricut usually does and the big thing is there were lines cut across the whole images.
Was it something I did??

Are you running the trial version of SCAL?
If so it has a watermark on it where it cuts 3 lines through each image you cut.
It goes away when you buy the full version.

Help!

I am running the full version, I am still getting the 3 lines cut across the image.

I changed out the blade, and all it did was make the watermark MORE visible.

Help me O-be-one-kanobe..... you're my only hope! :o

It sounds like the system thinks you're still running the trial version. Did you activate the program? You can do so here: http://www.craftedge.com/activation/sur ... tivate.php

We are running a fully licensed version.... even went to the home page and updated, making sure we have the latest version.

There must be a glitch.....

But did you activate the licensed version? Once you have a licensed version, you must activate it online to tell SCAL and your installation that you are working with a licensed copy. Downloading updates is NOT the same thing as activating. If you haven't activated, use the link I gave you for activation in my previous post. If you already activated, I suggest you go to the website, click on the Support tab and fill out the form.

Yes, my copy is registered.

Anyone else have an issue when they went from trial to full version?

I am getting quite frustrated, not to mention all the paper I am wasting to see if this problem goes away.... ugghh!!! :(

I would suggest you drop Todd an email. He is very quick at replying and he will be able to help you I am sure.

you can get him from the Craft Edge web site where you downloaded the program under contact us or something like that.
