I have a written tutorial explaining the path operations on my blog.

YAY-thnx Heather--will go print out and experiment. I love to be able to print the instructions and study, and put in my binder. Appreciate your work and input!

The Union under Path only works one time? I tried to do a vertical align and then do path union and sometimes it works others times it does not but then I go to do the next letter and Path Union will not work at all?

I haven't had any problems with multiple Unions on my XP machine. I haven't had a chance to try on Win7. What operating system are you using, and what version of SCAL are you using?
