Help with Arching words

Post by lam1303 »

Hi. Is there a tutorial that tells how to arch words in SCAL or Inkscape. What I want is:

100 Years - top arched up
1910-2010 - straight across middle
of Scouting - arch down at the bottom

Does that make sense? Is that possible to do and have it cut correctly in SCAL 2?

Thanks for anyone that could provide some insight!

Check out this search result for text in a circle and you will see many posts with links to tutorials etc. There are quite a few, so you will have to find the best one that works for you.

this post will show you how to do it in MSWord, Publisher etc. OpenOffice has a similar function called fontworks

then you can bring a screen shot and trace in scal2 or
print to svg
