btails, what size block are you using? When i was getting them at Lowes, they were bigger but now that i am ordering them or getting them from HL they are approx. 5x5 workable area.

I get mine from accent building products and columbus glass blocks..though I pay around 10 to 13 $ for them, the hole is already there and with doing so many, drilling the hole and buying the bit and going to dad's shop and using a drill press, well it was just easier to buy them ready...this is just me though.....mine are slimline 8 x 8 and 3 inches wide....the work area is right at 6.75 or 7 inches....one of them has the 4 x 8 which I like to...but they drill on the glass side but will drill on the side of the 4 x 8 if you ask them....thanks !! I love this and so would my husband. Would you be willing to share the site where you purchase the glass blocks?

Yes of course...just type in Columbus glass blocks or accent glass blocks....if this doesn't work for you let me know or email me at btails@sbcglobal.net tell them you talked to Judy Bunn one place is a little cheaper than the other....one the shipping is already added and the other isn't... just talk to them and ask them their prices...good luck !!
