Help!
Hello. I am new to SCAL. I bought it 2 days ago and have yet to actually cut out something with it. I am having an issue though. I have a good number of fonts that I have uploaded to my computer. I have a file of them. SCAL is not picking them up though. Is there a step that I'm missing or anything. I have extracted the zipped files. Do I have to place them somewhere, because I'm also noticing that Word doesn't pick them up either.
Re: Help!
I usually open the font and minimize it. Click on the letter (to start typing a font)in scal 2 and then a box comes up to choose your font. There is a refresh type button underneath where you choose your font. Hit this button. Then you font should show up if it is open and minimized. This is what works best for me-I hope it makes sense.

Re: Help!
ScrappingTable.com has some really great tutorials on downloading font, digbats, and shapes.

Re: Help!
This is what I do too. That way, if I see a font that I like, I can go ahead and download it without worrying about slowing my system down by installing too many fonts. If it is a font that I use often I will install it, otherwise I just open it when I want to use it.Tina 1 wrote:I usually open the font and minimize it.
